Senior Safety Engineer
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Safety Engineer, the role will be a long term IR35 contract that can offer hybrid working, the position will be working from the clients’ offices in Warrington and will require candidates to have the ability to gain Security clearance.
The client will be looking for candidates that have a minimum of 5 years demonstratable knowledge and industry experience of a range of nuclear facilities as well as being able to demonstrate experience of building safety case documentation for example: Hazard management strategy, Radiological safety assessments and safety reports (PSRs, PCSRs).
The candidate must demonstrate the experience of developing junior members of previous teams as well as experience in verification of peer reports. During the project delivery you will be supporting production of the safety submissions and producing technical scopes of work.
Our client is currently looking for candidates that will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the ALARP Principle and knowledge of ONR Safety Assessment Principles as well as participating in HAZOPs.
Candidates will be required to gain BPSS before starting the role and this will then be progressed to Security Clearance as the project moves forward.
