Senior Piping Stress Engineer
Our candidate is currently looking for a Senior Piping Stress Engineer on a contracting basis, the role will be Inside of IR35 but offering a rate that is commensurate with experience, the client offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office located in Warrington and 2 days from home. The role will be working within the Nuclear industry and will require candidates who can gain SC clearance.
The client will be looking for candidates that are proficient in software such as Caesar II, PV Elite pressure vessel, NozzlePRO and FE pipe as well as AutoCAD Plant 3D. The right candidates will be finalising the stress analysis design basis, critical line list, data sheets, support specifications, they will also be responsible for co-ordinating with piping engineers and designers and other disciplines as required for interfaces.
Candidates must have the technical ability to produce, check and review the following: Piping stress analysis for loading, Pipe support selection taking cognisance of the above analysis and studies, documentation including specifications, stress reports and other calculations.
This role will require the occasional site visitation with the end client site being located within the Chester area but the main load of work being done at the Warrington offices. The right to work must be established within the UK and candidates must be able to gain SC clearance due to the nature of the project.
