Senior Buyer
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Buyer on a contracting basis, the role can be worked Outside IR35 and is offering candidates hybrid working, the role will be working on a Palm Oil plant with the site being located in the Liverpool area.
During the role you will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of construction materials, plant and subcontracted services in line with project specifications, you will also be monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance and adherence to contractual obligations.
Candidates will be working with the cost engineer to monitor contract performance, track milestones, deliverables, invoices, contract compliance, schedule adherence and reporting obligations. You will also be responsible for the management of supply chain risks and opportunities (R&O) and to assist in the contract close out, ensuring all deliverables are completed.
The client will be looking for candidates that have experience of working in a design, engineering and construction environment at FEED and PMC/EPC phases of Chemical/Process plant projects. Candidates must also have strong technical knowledge of construction products, Plant and systems.
