Senior Construction Manager
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Construction Manager for a site based in the Kings Lynn area, the opportunity will be a 6 month rolling contract that can be worked outside IR35, the client is offering a negotiable day rate and the role will be working through all stages of the project from detailed design all the way to the project handover.
The client is looking for candidates that have experience of 10 years + within the construction delivery with a minimum of 3 years in a management position (Senior Agent or Agent) and has knowledge and experience of relevant construction techniques, standards and procedures as well as a understanding of temporary works procedures.
During this role the Senior Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring that construction is adequately considered in detailed design as well as providing construction leadership and managing all aspects of the construction including the investigation / surveys and mobilisation. During this role you will be working on Stage one which will be the detailed design and early contractor involvement through to stage 2 which will be to construct and handover the works into operations.
The client will be looking for candidates that have a Degree or HND in Civil engineering or allied subject, a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS or equivalent H&S qualification. It would also be desirable for candidates to have an understanding of Temporary works co-ordination and Lifting AP.
