Site Engineer
Our client is currently looking for a Site Engineer to work on a end client site based within the Oxfordshire area, the role will be a rolling contract that can be worked Outside IR35. This role is looking for candidates that have recently been working within the Water industry and will be offering candidates a negotiable day rate that is commensurate with there experience.
During this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting out and surveying
- Raise and manage permits to dig
- Ensure all excavation permits are approved before work commences on site
- Maintain accurate site diaries and daily progress records
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Liaise with other Engineering, support and construction operations.
- Identify and report site issues, delays, or safety concerns to management
- Work in accordance with company procedures at all times
All applicants must have the relevant CSCS as well as having a deep understanding of the Engineering Principals required for such Water projects and the technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices for site. The client will require candidates that have a Thames Water Passport certification for this role.
