Senior Mechanical Engineer
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer, the role will be a permanent staff position located between a few end clients between Sheffield and Derby, the role will be working from home and visiting the end clients offices dependent on project requirements. The role is offering a salary that is commensurate with experience.
During this role candidates will be responsible for applying Mechanical Engineering principals to the design, analysis and development of system machines and components as well as producing concept, detailed and layout designs and supporting them with engineering calculations and analysis.
Candidates must have a strong knowledge of core Mechanical Engineering principals including: Mechanics and dynamics, Thermodynamics, Materials science, structural analysis and mechanical design.
Candidates must have experience of working within Highly regulated industries such as Nuclear, Subsea, renewables, Oil & Gas and Defence, for this role you will be required to gain Security Clearance so all applicants must be sole British Nationals and have not been outside of the UK for longer than 6 Months within the past 5 years.
