Quantity Surveyor
Our client is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor within the Dalry area, the role will be a contracting position Inside IR35 offering a negotiable rate. The role will be based majority on site in the Dalry area.
The client is looking for a candidate that can provide site based Quantity Surveying support across the project, taking over key responsibilities from an existing QS. The successful candidates will be responsible supporting commercial and contractual administrative activities with a focus on hot loop testing as well as an input into the electrical and scaffolding packages.
Candidates must be able to travel to the site at least 4 times a week with any travel costs being reimbursed where appropriate.
The client is looking for candidates that have strong experience in procurement and contract management within the construction industry or a related industry, a good knowledge of all commonly used forms of contracts for UK services and supplies is needed specifically the IchemE, JCT, NEC4.
As always the right to work within the UK must be established and due to the nature of the work candidates must have the ability to pass basic security clearance.
