Senior EC&I Engineer
Our client is currently looking for a Senior EC&I Engineer on a contracting basis, the role can be worked outside IR35 and offers a rate that is commensurate with experience. The position will be working from the clients Manchester offices and will be offering hybrid working with the occasional site visitation required dependant on project requirements.
The client will be looking for candidates that have significant experience within the UK water projects, you will be responsible for producing design documents which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the specification laid out by the end client, you will also be responsible for EC&I technical input which will include preparation, checking and/or approval of engineering documentation.
Candidates must have good knowledge of UK legislations and standards including WIMES as well as experience in the requirements for CE marking of plant and equipment, including ATEX, PED, Low Voltage Directive, Machinery Directive and EMC compliance. You will also be responsible for making sure that all national and international codes of practice, legislation and company/client standards and procedures are complied with. Candidates must have the right to work within the UK established.
