Mechanical Engineer Maintenance and Mechanical Handling.
Our client is actively recruiting the additional assistance of one possibly two mechanical engineers who will be recruited to systematically review layout, equipment design and associated maintenance procedures and intervals in order to ensure design is ergonomically efficient and safe, being fully compliant with HSE requirements.
They will be charged with recommending changes and maintain data bases of such changes and prepare intermediate and final reports.
Evaluate equipment removal and methods & routes
Carry out crane access assessments
Update project philosophy and handling stuffy documents
Compile list of mechanical handling equipment requirements
Produce specifications and requisitions for mechanical handling equipment
Define structural requirements for maintenance routes
The candidates should possess good knowledge of gas processing plant maintenance techniques and requirements, understand and have practicable experience of gas plant and refinery equipment maintenance and turnaround planning
Knowledge of detail step wise actions in routine and non routine maintenance of compressors, pumps, gas turbines and static equipment, instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Preferably has working experience in LNG plant and shutdown planning of, Systematic analysis of equipment proposed layouts and facilitating working group through task and access analysis with a view to optimising design for maintenance
