We are seeking an experienced and qualified Project Engineer or Project Manager
The Project Manager / Project Engineer will manage the delivery of manufacturing and installation projects.
Adhere to the scope of work, quality standards, schedule and cost. Managing projects from the initial end user /client enquiry through to installation
The Project Engineer will be expected to:
Lead and manage one or more teams of technical staff
Agreeing project objectives, monitoring progress and making appropriate responses
From the concept design through to construction and handover.
Plan for effective project implementation
Identifying key factors and leading the project’s technical planning process
Ensure that the processes and activities are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied
Identify problems with the project, taking the lead on developing solutions and ensuring solutions are implemented
Manage the deployment of design and safety resources against agreed budgets and schedule
Liaise with third parties such as external contractors around time scales and working practices.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
The Project Manager / Project Engineer must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills required in the project management of complex design development throughout the design lifecycle
Working experience with ISO 9001 standards and industry legislation
Sound understanding of Codes and standards relating to Project Engineering Practices and Health and Safety and Quality requirements
At least 5 to 8 years experience in project engineering within the Turnkey Manufacturing industry
Preferably qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline;
Member of a recognised Engineering Institute. Ideally, Chartered Engineer, or moving towards Chartered status.
Duration of Contract: Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00 to £46,000.00
