We are seeking an experienced and qualified Project Engineer or Project Manager

The Project Manager / Project Engineer will manage the delivery of plant projects, to the required scope, quality standards, schedule and cost. From the initial end user /client enquiry through to installation

The Project Engineer will be expected to:
Lead and manage one or more teams of technical staff agreeing project objectives, monitoring progress and making appropriate  responses, from the concept design through to construction and handover;
Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project’s technical planning process;
Ensure that the processes and activities are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied;

Identify problems with the project, taking the lead on developing solutions and ensuring solutions are implemented;
Manage the deployment of design and safety resources against agreed budgets and schedule;
Liaise with third parties such as external contractors around time scales and working practices.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
The Project Manager / Project Engineer must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills required in the project management of complex design development throughout the design lifecycle;
Sound understanding of ISO 9001 and industry legislation, codes & standards relating to Project Engineering Practices, Health & Safety and Quality requirements, and ability to manage projects in accordance with same;
At least 6 to 8 years experience in project engineering within the Turnkey Manufacturing industry
Preferably qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline;
Chartered Engineer, or moving towards Chartered status.
